Completing 20 years, the Vitoria Stone Fair brings a series of innovations for the 2023 edition. With a 360° floor plan and designed to facilitate closing deals, the event will bring new environments and unpublished events that will deepen knowledge of the sector and enable the exchange of experiences among all the public involved in the event: stone companies, construction companies, architects, designers, technological solutions and equipment.
Among these spaces is the Sesi Senai Stone Summit Arena, an environment to bring connection, opportunities and knowledge. With an exclusive programmation, great national and international names of the architecture and design will bring lectures and panels involving the most relevant and urgent matters of the sector, such as innovation, technology, application of material, conservation, sustainability, among others.
Among the prominent names: Paulo Giafarov, founder and CEO of DGG Stones, in São Paulo; Samuele Sordi, from the Italian office Pininfarina, who make the design of a lot of Ferrari cars, and Craig Copeland, member of Pelli & Clark, in New York. Both will come through the Projeto Imagem, a project that is part of It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, support program for Brazilian exports in the international market developed by Brazilian Center of Ornamental Stones Exporters (Centrorochas), in partnership with the Brazilian Agency of Exporting Promotion and Investments (ApexBrasil).
Still to connect the architecture and design market to the ornamental stone market, we will have Stone Concept. he project is materialized in installations that show the life cycle of ornamental stones, from extraction in quarries, through cutting and preparation, to reaching the hands of professionals who will specify and use creativity to transform them into exclusive design pieces, and in projects for functional and sustainable environments.
Stone Tech, will be a space dedicated to showing the latest technologies for processing, cutting and treating stones and their benefits for industries.
Another news of the event is the project Stone XP, a program of in-depth, multisensory experiences. The proposal is to provide buyers, architects, designers and construction professionals with the opportunity to get to know the material production process up close, allowing an immersion in the companies and quarries of Espírito Santo.
The Stone Fair has been organized for 20 years by Milanez & Milaneze and is expected to receive more than 20 thousand visitors, including buyers, architects, designers and professionals from the construction market, from more than 60 countries. here are 30 thousand m² divided into two internal and external pavilions, with exhibitors from all over Brazil, and countries such as China, Spain, Italy and Turkey, in addition to the inclusion of 40 new companies that will participate for the first time. With the presence of many investors, all the capixaba economy will be driven.
