Are materials that can be used in a lot of ways on the architecture projects and interior design, bringing exclusivity, sophistication and sustainability for spaces. All of this variety will be shown in Vitoria Stone Fair 2023! The event is the opportunity for architects and designers to get inspired, observe trends and follow launches of the most beautiful stones, with a visual and sensory experience.
The architect Vivian Coser says that, each year, the possibilities of using stones become countless, due to the wide natural variety of colors and textures. According to her, advances in technology also make it easier to handle pieces, contributing to innovation in design and the creation of more exclusive environments. “There’s no limits to the use of natural stones. It’s the most versatile material available in the world. One of the most fantastic things that I consider in this material, is the exclusivity. No stone will ever be the same as another. In addition, its use is a way of valuing our country’s natural resources”, she adds.
Beyond the beauty, these stones have become even more requested due its resistance and its long life cycle. The quartzite is the stone that is below diamond in terms of hardness and absorption, a characteristic that makes the stone more resistant and durable. “We have a large diversity of quartzites in Brazil. It’s a stone that will surprise a lot of booths during the fair”, says Vivian.
Sustainability is another point raised by Vivian Coser. According to her, the use of the ornamental stones is less polluting than the glass, aluminum, steel and other synthetic materials for generating less waste in the handling. “With the stones, it is possible to create environments that aim at sustainability, because the use of it has many benefits with regard to environmental care. It is the most resistant raw material to work with in the long term. In terms of durability, it is unbeatable, and comes out ahead, being number one in projects when you think about sustainability and longevity”, she says.
For the architect Vivian Coser, the Vitoria Stone Fair is the search source and inspiration. “It is the opportunity to make new curatorship and projects, in addition to viewing new materials that have been discovered. During the fair it is also possible to see firsthand the launches and closer understand the new possibilities and trends. It means sharpening your eyes and making more and more exclusive and customized projects, which is very important for any architect”, she pointed out.
