On the second day of the event companies account for good results
A fair, a world of possibilities! The Vitoria Stone Fair slogan has been taken seriously by the exhibiting companies at the event. On the market for 33 years, Granistone, from Ceará, made its debut at the fair with the sale of a block of its Amazonite stone worth US$ 200,000.
The stone was disputed by buyers from China and the Middle East, but was sold by Antolini Italia, which has a stand at the fair. For Granistone’s marketing director, Janaina Menezes, Vitoria Stone Fair helped bring more visibility to the company. “On the first day we made excellent contacts and received many people interested in our products. This has been great,” she said. With its own quarries in Ceará, Paraíba, Piauí and Bahia, the company has the only large quarry in the world for Amazonite.
Who also already has a positive result is Marbrasa, from Cachoeiro de Itapemirim. As soon as it announced which blocks would be on display at the Vitoria Stone Fair, the company closed the deal. “Participating in the fair is important because we are close to our customers and have also conquered others, generating great opportunities”, said Adriana Alemães, sales coordinator.
Szroc, a company that produces mining equipment, also started the fair with good results. The drilling machine on display at the stand was sold on the first day of the Vitora Stone Fair. The expectation is that more than R$ 1 billion in business will be generated during the event.
The Vitoria Stone Fair continues until next friday, at Pavilhão de Carapina. Vitoria Stone Fair is a realization of Milanez & MIlaneze, promoted by Sindirochas and Cetemag and support of Centrorochas, with partnership of Bandes, Caixa, Sicoob, Sesi, Senai and CREA-ES.
